Dusty Big Week – Where showers are expected

Weak low pressure affects the area. Dust will be observed in the atmosphere from time to time, the concentrations of which, mainly on Tuesday and Wednesday, are expected to be increased.

Today the weather will initially be mostly sunny. At noon and in the afternoon, clouds that will develop are expected to give isolated rains or even a short storm in the mountains and possibly in the inland area. Winds will be blowing, initially variable light 3 and later sea, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to a little rough. The temperature will rise to around 33 degrees inland, around 29 in the south, east and north coasts, around 25 on the west coast and around 22 degrees in the higher mountains.

Tonight initially the weather will be mostly clear, while later locally increased clouds are expected to give isolated rain mainly on the northern coasts. Winds will gradually become, mainly northwest to northeast, light to 3 Beaufort and the sea will be calm to a little rough. The temperature will drop to around 15 degrees inland, on the west and north coasts, around 17 on the south and east coasts and around 11 degrees in the higher mountains.

On Great Tuesday, the weather will initially be mostly clear, while during the midday and afternoon hours, clouds that will develop are expected to give isolated showers and isolated thunderstorms, mainly in the mountains and inland. On Big Wednesday, at noon and in the afternoon, isolated rains and isolated storms are expected mainly in the highlands and south of Troodos, while on Big Thursday, isolated rains are expected in the highlands and possibly also in the inland region.
