The media now accuses M. Akinci

Greek Cypriot media and some groups (but did not name them) are trying to control the talks, said Turkish Cypriot leader Mustafa Akinci, adding that such messages should not be taken into account. At the same time, he called on the public to take note of the messages they have sent (those directly involved in the chat table).

During a visit to County Kepir at an Environment Day event, he said the creation of a bi-zonal bi-communal federation was a task and added that they were working with dedication towards a commonly accepted structure.

He added that he remains committed to the EU authorities in the effort to find a solution, and added that it is important that we learn from the past in order to create a better future.

He also expressed sorrow over the attack in Ankara and wished an end to these incidents.
