Nine Turkish soldiers were arrested in the occupied territories

Turkish authorities have arrested nine Turkish soldiers in the occupied territories as part of investigations into Fethullah Gulen's movement, according to the Turkish media.

According to the Anatolian Agency and a Kibris Postasi article, the nine soldiers were arrested today and flown by two military helicopters to Ankara, as they are suspected of belonging to the "terrorist organization" Gulen (FETO). It is even added that searches were carried out in their homes, their offices, but also in the administrations where they serve.

In fact, inspections were carried out in other houses of Turkish army officers, as well as military units.

According to information, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus is monitoring the situation.

It should be noted that, according to a publication on the website, Bruxelles2, the Turkish government has launched a pogrom against Turkish soldiers serving in NATO, after the coup attempt last July.

In fact, as reported, of the approximately 400 Turkish officers serving in the non-Turkish structures of the Atlantic Alliance, 232 are "under liquidation".

According to the report, which cites information from Turkish officers, there have been cases of women officers being tortured in order for the latter to bend, and there are reports of four to six officers being killed after being tortured.

The result of this situation is the mass submission of asylum applications by Turkish officers in the countries they serve. One of the main reasons for the mass submission of asylum applications is, according to the publication, the suffering of those who complied with Ankara's order and returned. Some were arrested as soon as they arrived at the airport, imprisoned, interrogated and some tortured.
