The Cypriot market is moving at a discount rate

The market has been on an upward trajectory in recent days after the winter discounts led consumers to the shops for shopping.

Suspicious and cautious, most consumers flocked to the malls to do their shopping and take advantage of the discounts that "took over" them in recent days.

Discounts were set by the shopkeepers to attract the public, while some are happy and some are worried.

In a market research conducted by SigmaLive, some shopkeepers greatly reduced prices, up to 50% and even 70% in some cases, while there are exceptions to the rule, which remained at the same price levels, displeasing consumers, but also the pocket their.

The shopping malls, with emphasis on the big shopping malls of Nicosia, Limassol and Paphos, had increased traffic since yesterday Saturday, with consumers finding the opportunity of discounts for their winter shopping.
