She fell into a coma pregnant, woke up mother

She came home to her baby when he was six months old

For most mothers, the moment they see their newborn baby for the first time, the moment they embrace it for the first time, is special. Ciara Murray, 33, from Northern Ireland, could not live with her at this time and did not even know she had given birth.

According to the Daily Mail, she had a stroke in the 37th week of her pregnancy and the doctors had to intervene in time in the clot in her brain and at the same time make a caesarean section to take her son.

Little James was born in October 2015 but Ciara remained in an artificial coma.

"I was not told before the surgery that I would give birth. When the nurse told me I had a baby I could not believe it. "My husband brought it to me, I could not move but he was there, on my chest, a drop and perfect" he remembers. "I felt so lucky that she was well and I was so worried about him."

Before the episodic birth, Ciara had a very calm pregnancy without any problems. But in October 2015 she started to feel unwell one day and when she tried to go to bed to lie down, she collapsed. Her husband was absent from work and so she stayed there, losing and regaining consciousness for seven hours.

"I could not reach the phone to alert him, at the same time I did not feel the baby at all. I was more worried about my son than about me. I was terrified, "he describes.

As soon as her husband returned home, he called an ambulance, which transported the 33-year-old to the hospital.

"I felt bad, John told me I would be fine. "That's the last thing I remember."

After the operation, father and son returned home alone as Ciara needed rehabilitation treatments to regain control of her left side. But go see her every day and spend some time together, as a family.

The woman finally returned home in April 2016, taking care of her six-month-old child for the first time.

"I learned to change diapers with one hand, it was difficult but taking care of him was my motivation to get better and be stronger. I am still doing treatments, the process is long. Inside the house I move with a cane, outside with a wheelchair. "But I practice hard every day and I am determined to come back fully."

According to the Daily Mail, the little boy came out of the whole process unscathed. "He is fine, he is full of energy and ready to walk. "We'll probably walk together," says his mom proudly.
