It is time for the Archbishop of Cyprus to stop "popularizing for the poor people, but to help in practice, with some of the millions, which he has accumulated as a businessman," says in a written statement the former President of the Republic Dimitris Christofias.
On the occasion of yesterday's statement of Archbishop Chrysostom "that Mr. Christofias failed to level, let the Governor of the Central Bank level it", the former President of the Republic states that he is not surprised by the statement of the Archbishop and in his name, since - as he adds - "he usually opens his mouth, unable to control what his tongue says".
"The problem of the banks", explains Mr. Christofias, "has been created by the administrations and executives of the banks, which include himself (the Archbishop)".
He concludes by saying that "patience has its limits and that is why it must stop provoking the poor people".
