A new testimony will be given today by the 24-year-old who reported rape by three people in a central hotel in Thessaloniki on New Year's Eve.
This is her fourth testimony in a row, which was deemed necessary, as new questions were raised by the Authorities, while the environment of the 24-year-old requested that new elements be introduced in the case file.
At the same time, investigations are underway into allegations of an international pimping ring, whose members lure girls - possibly minors - and, after addicting them to drugs, issue them mainly at parties attended by the rich.
Speaking on SKAI television on Thursday night, the 24-year-old stressed that she is struggling to find the strength to justify herself and all the women who have been abused.
"I am in a situation where I am still trying to find my footing, to get stronger, in order to prove the whole truth. I fight not only for myself, but for all women. Thank you so much people for your support. All women who have gone through such situations should be strong, not afraid, a victim should not be afraid. The victim is a victim. "It is not possible for a victim to think that they are not harming me," he said.
"If I did not speak I would be like that all my life," he said.
At the same time, one of the three accused made his first official statement. The 27-year-old, speaking to ANT1, declared his innocence and claimed that the sexual encounter took place with the absolute knowledge and consent of the complainant. For many days, both I as a person, but also my whole family are dragged, "tried", but also "convicted", for a case that is pending before the Greek Justice. "In a state governed by the rule of law, every accused person (whoever he is) is presumed innocent until proven guilty," he said.
