7 prophecies and premonitions that came true

1. The attacks of 11 September
In her book "Messages, Signs, Visits and Feelings from Our Loved Ones Who Lost on September 11", a widow of a victim of the attacks states that many victims had a bad feeling that day. Her husband was dizzy that morning as he left for work. And long before the attacks, he often talked about the possibility of an attack on the World Trade Center and suggested ways to escape and evacuate in this case.

2. The Titanic
In 1898, author Morgan Robertson published a novel, The Shipwreck of Titan, which tells the story of the sinking of a cruise ship. He described the lack of lifeboats and the inability to save a large number of passengers. The description is very similar to the events that took place during the sinking of the Titanic on April 15, 1912, 14 years after the publication of the novel. When the book was released, Titanic did not even exist.

3. The earthquake in the city of L'Aquila
In early 2009, researcher Giampaolo Giuliani announced that an earthquake would hit the Italian city of L'Aquila on March 29 of that year. Although nothing happened that day, a week later the city was devastated by a magnitude 6,3 earthquake that killed 308 people. However, the scientific community claims that earthquakes cannot be predicted in such a short time. Giampaolo Giuliani insists that 222 radon emissions indicate that we will have an earthquake in the coming days. Even today he is the only one who believes this.

4. Sharon Tate's premonition
Actress Sharon Tate had hallucinations a few months before she was murdered by Charles Manson. The director's then wife Roman Polanski had said he had seen her body murdered in her home. In 1969, Manson killed her at her home in Los Angeles while she was eight months pregnant.

5. The assassination of Abraham Lincoln
Lincoln had many preconceptions about his death. A few days before his assassination, the 16th president of the United States told his bodyguard about a dream he had had. He told him he had seen himself walking towards the White House and meeting a crowd of crying people and a dead man on the ground surrounded by soldiers. When Lincoln asked the soldier in his dream who this man was, the soldier replied that he was the president of the United States who had just been assassinated.

6. The ghost announced the death of an actress
In the horror film 'Poltergeist', there was an element that impressed viewers six years later. Robbie, a Freeling family boy, had a poster over his bed with the 1988 Super Bowl, which is strange as the film is supposed to be set in 1982. But what makes an even bigger impression is the day of the 1988 Super Bowl. , actress Heather O'Rourke, who played one of Robbie's sisters in the film, felt suddenly unwell and died.

7. The air conditioning
In December 1900, an American engineer, John Elfreth Watkins, Jr. published an article in a women's magazine in the Saturday Evening Post. In this article, entitled "What can happen in the next hundred years", Watkins refers to the idea that his great-grandchildren in the late 20th century can be cooled by air conditioners. According to the author, air conditioning would be available in homes such as hot and cold water in 1900: through pipes filled with cold water.
