Human library from the Parliament for issues concerning people with disabilities

The Human Library is organized by the House of Representatives in collaboration with the NGO "Human Library - Cyprus" on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, on Thursday afternoon at the Hospitality.

According to a statement from Parliament, "the Human Library does not have books but people willing to share their stories and experiences, with the aim of combating prejudice and enhancing the promotion of diversity."

The Human Books available at the event, he added, "will be either directly or indirectly related to disability issues."

Members of Parliament, parliamentary associates and staff of Parliament, as well as parliamentary editors or guests of parliamentary committees will be able to borrow a Human Book for a limited time and ask relevant questions, the announcement concludes.
