Eva Kaili: Today it is decided whether she will be released from prison with a "bracelet"

Today, Eva Kaili will appear before the preliminary council, which will decide whether her pre-trial detention will be extended by one month or whether she will be temporarily released with restrictive conditions.

The former vice-president of the European Parliament has been detained for over a month in Belgian prisons, while a few weeks ago she had requested a temporary release with a bracelet, but the trial had been postponed.

After the news that Pantseri decided to cooperate with the authorities and talk about everything in order to get a more favorable treatment, Eva Kaili's lawyer, Michalis Dimitrakopoulos, was asked by Open if this changes anything in terms of her line of defense.

"Eva Kaili will also plead not guilty tomorrow and will fight to prove her innocence," emphasized Eva Kaili's lawyer.

It is recalled that Eva Kaili faces serious charges, related to corruption, money laundering and participation in a criminal organization.
