Egypt is the XNUMXth safest country in the world and the first in Africa, according to the latest annual Gallup Global Law and Order poll, giving it the highest rating even by the US and the UK.
The Egypt Indepedent reveals that the poll was conducted in a total of 142 countries, asking 148.000 adult residents to give their opinion on whether they feel safe at night and if they have ever been the victim of crime, theft, etc.
As part of this survey, Egypt achieved a score of 88 out of 100, taking the position of the 16th safest country in the world, equal to Denmark, Slovenia and China.
The United Kingdom ranked 21st, while the United States ranked 35th.
Singapore emerged as the safest country, with Liberia being ranked as the most insecure country in the world.
Norway, Iceland, Finland and Uzbekistan are at the top of the top five safest countries in the world, after Singapore. The five least secure countries were Venezuela, Afghanistan, South Sudan, Gabon and Liberia.
