Germany: Facebook deleted anti-vaccination accounts

Facebook, the giant of social networking sites, has announced that it has deleted accounts of the anti-vaccination movement in Germany, which opposes restrictions on halting its pandemic. Covid-19.

The measure, ten days before the German parliamentary elections, also applies to the movement's Instagram accounts.

The company explained that members of the Querdenker movement ("free-thinking") were posting "wrong" health information, hate speech and inciting violence. He even pointed out that the messages in these accounts claimed that "the restrictions imposed by the German Government on the Covid-19 "They are part of a larger plan to deprive citizens of their freedoms and fundamental rights."

This movement organizes demonstrations against the restrictive measures, gathering many thousands of people in some of them.
