European low-cost airline easyJet has run into technical problems with its IT system, which has forced it to cancel about 200 flights, having already canceled several hundred due to staff shortages in recent weeks.
"We apologize to customers whose flights have been affected by IT problems," the company said in a Twitter post late yesterday.
EasyJet had initially hinted that flights scheduled to depart between 13.00pm and 15.00pm would be canceled, but eventually added that problems could persist despite the technical issue being resolved.
