Canada: Alcohol and marijuana end for the unvaccinated

The government of the Prime Minister of Quebec, François Lego, is expected to announce within a week the obligation to present proof of vaccination in cellars and cannabis shops, the Journal de Montreal reported on Tuesday. Proof of vaccination is already required in Quebec in places such as restaurants, theaters, bars and casinos. Under the new law, unvaccinated residents will still have access to convenience stores that sell beer and wine, but will virtually be barred from buying legal alcoholic beverages.

However, the vaccination requirement in liquor stores and cannabis will only apply to buyers. Workers will not be forced to be vaccinated, according to the Journal de Montreal.
