At least two people have been killed in a magnitude 7,4 earthquake that shook the coast of southern Mexico, shaking buildings in Mexico City and other parts of the country's southwest coast. The US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration issued a tsunami alert, but later sounded the alarm.
The US Geological Survey measured the quake at 7,4. The epicenter was reported below the Pacific Ocean floor, however; no tsunami alert was issued. Mexico's National Seismological Service said the magnitude of the quake was 7,5 on the Richter scale. The epicenter was reported 400 miles (XNUMX miles) from the capital, Oaxaca.
In the meantime, shocking videos of the time of the earthquake are coming to light. They show the reaction of people and buildings, while a camera records the earth shaking from the catastrophic earthquake.
In another case, multi-storey buildings are pulsating and swimming pools on the roofs of buildings are overflowing. People in general keep their cool and try to stay in central places and squares.
It is recalled that Mexico is among the countries with the largest and most catastrophic earthquakes and in 2017 300 people lost their lives.
