The war in Ukraine and its international implications were mentioned again by Pope Francis, addressing the diplomatic representatives of the Holy See today.
"Europe and the whole world are suffering from a most severe war, both because of the violation of international law and because of the dangers of nuclear escalation and the heavy economic and social consequences," Pope Francis stressed.
"This is the Third World War in different phases, of which you are direct witnesses in the countries to which you have been sent," the pontiff said to his diplomatic representatives.
