Five people, three of them children, have died after a stolen car crashed in Leeds, West Yorkshire Police said.
Police said they found a "complete carnage" scene when they arrived on Stonegate Road in the Meanwood area of the city on Saturday night and discovered that a Renault Clio had crashed into a tree.
A 12-year-old boy, two 15-year-old boys, a 24-year-old man and a 28-year-old died in the collision.
Two 15-year-old boys have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and remain in custody.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said that while only one vehicle was involved, it was not yet clear if the victims and suspects were all in the car.
"Either everyone was in the car or some were pedestrians. We can not know at this point in time. "
Police cordoned off the area and are investigating to find out exactly what happened.
