The "most dangerous bird" that killed its owner in Florida is for sale

This bird is one of the many exotic species kept by Marvin Hatzos, who was killed on April 12. The auction will sell more than 100 animals, including five lemurs, 26 marmosets, 19 parrots, one me and two cassowaries.

The auction is organized by a company that specializes in buying and selling animals and will not be open to the press.

Hatzos was near the bird cage at his home in Florida when he slipped and fell. One of the casualties then attacked him and seriously injured him. He was taken to hospital, but doctors were unable to keep him alive.

The San Diego Zoo describes the cassowary as "the most dangerous bird in the world."

It has curved claws and can jump to a height of two meters, while its speed when running reaches 50 kilometers. The female reaches 76 kg, while the male 55.
