Warsaw police have arrested a man convicted of manslaughter who escaped arrest 20 years ago for not wearing a mask inside a shop, a law enforcement spokesman told AFP.
"The man was arrested by Bielani district police for not wearing a mask," Deputy Inspector Elvira Kozlovska said in an email.
The 45-year-old man was taken to prison. He must serve a 25-year prison sentence.
The officer refused to go into details about the murder for which the 45-year-old had been convicted.
