He climbed into the BBC building & destroyed a statue of a pedophile sculptor for hours

For four hours, a man hammered the controversial hammer sculpture of a well-known pedophile artist that adorns the BBC Radio House in central London. The incident began to unfold on Wednesday afternoon.

The sculpture named "Prospero and Ariel" is a creation of the sculptor and typographer Eric Gill. The sculpture, which is inspired by Shakespeare's "Storm", is located in a prominent position in the building of the Radio House of the British network where it was placed in 1933.

However, the shocking revelation that the famous British sculptor had sexually abused his two eldest daughters and his dog, several years after his death in 1940, provoked the indignation of many British citizens who wanted to be removed from the building because of the actions of the man who created it.

During the negotiations with the police, the man, whose name has not yet been revealed, explained that the destruction of the statue had something that should have been done decades ago. According to the Daily Mail, more than 2.500 people have signed an application in the past asking for the sculpture to be removed from the building in central London. Eventually, the perpetrator of the sculpture vandalism was arrested.
