"Angry L'éGO": An artistic intervention gives color and interest to the streets of Paris

In 2014, the street artist Le Cyklop (the Cyclops) transformed into the most angry "Cyclops" the columns on the sidewalks of the French capital.

With his art he has visited areas of Paris such as Pantin, Colombes and Montreuil and most recently his urban intervention has the name "Angry L'éGO" borrowing its aesthetic language from the well-known Danish toy company.
Wandering the streets, Le Cyklop locates the columns to which he wants to give "life" and sprays them with a bright yellow color. Then with the help of various stickers he adds facial features.

Although the latest project is called "Angry L'éGO" many of the cyclopean figures have an expression of surprise, confusion or even joy, attracting the attention of passers-by in every possible way.

True to his artistic pseudonym, the French artist draws inspiration from the Cyclops of Greek mythology.

"In my job, I try to free myself from conventional means such as walls or canvases, to invest in objects. Putting an eye on them I try to bring them to life, to give them a soul and to give birth to a kind of imagination "says Le Cyklop and in a long video he unfolds his thought and art.
