Tsavousoglu said the United States and Russia had not done what was required by the agreements under which Ankara ended its military operations against the Kurdish YPG militia in northeastern Syria last month.
"The United States and Russia have failed to take the necessary steps (under the agreements with Ankara). "If the territories are not cleared (from the Kurdish units), we will resume the operation," the Turkish Foreign Minister assured, as reported by Haberturk and Yeni Safak.
Tsavousoglou stressed that his country wants to "get rid of the terrorist threat".
The agreement stipulated that the YPG, which Turkey considers a terrorist organization, would be removed from a large area bordering Turkey in northeastern Syria.
