Twitter: The chicken nuggets that managed to "dethrone" Obama and Trump

Although Donald Trump is the president of the USA and has an intense activity on the Twitter platform, in the end his chicken nuggets stole the glory.

The list of the 10 most popular tweets of 2017, from which the current US President is absent, was published on Twitter, while on the contrary, former President Barack Obama makes his presence felt with three appearances.

However, none of the presidents or celebrities in the US managed to get to the first place, which is occupied by an unknown, 16-year-old Carter Wilkerson with his campaign for free chicken nuggets. The young man collected 3,6 million retweets in his campaign and while he failed to achieve the goal set by the fast food restaurant for 18 million retweets, he finally won the chicken nuggets he wanted.

Barack Obama managed to reach the second place in the list with a post on his @BarackObama account. In it he had written the quote of Nelson Mandela "no one is born hating someone else because of the color of his skin or his background or his religion", accompanied by a photo of him greeting a group of babies from the window.

Donald Trump, with 44 million followers on @realDonaldTrump, managed to reach only 21st place on the Twitter list, although he was quite busy with his users.

In the top ten there are two other publications of Barack Obama from the period he completed his term.
