Four premises and 17 people were reported in the last 24 hours during checks for violations of the decrees to limit the spread of the coronavirus, the Cyprus Police reported to KYPE on Monday.
According to an official of the Police Press Office, a total of 2.039 checks were carried out in all provinces.
In Nicosia, six people were reported during 631 inspections and the manager of an establishment was found to be working without SafePass.
There were no complaints in Limassol where 155 inspections were carried out.
In Larnaca, 387 inspections were carried out and eight people were reported and one establishment, where staff worked without the use of a mask.
Two more premises were reported in Paphos, for non-use of a mask by staff, during 122 inspections.
In the province of Famagusta, 425 inspections were carried out and three people were reported, while no complaints were reported in the area of Morfos where 159 inspections were carried out.
Also, the Traffic Police carried out 151 checks and another nine by the Port Police but no complaints were received.
