The Ministry of Labor and Social Insurance informs that, in accordance with the provisions of the legislation on the Regulation of the Operation of Stores and the Conditions of Employment of their Employees, all General Stores (e.g. stores within shopping centers, supermarkets, clothing / footwear stores, etc.), on Saturday March 25, 2023, they can remain open.
In respect of Saturday 1st April 2023, all General Stores should remain closed.
It is emphasized that, based on article 16 of the mentioned legislation, March 25 and April 1 are considered holidays for store employees. Therefore, in case store employees (General or Special) are called to work on the above dates, they should be compensated at a ratio of 1:2 for each hour worked.
