He bought drugs, did not pay for them and sent threatening messages to the pharmacist

The Paphos Crime Investigation Department is investigating a case of written threats for murder, securing goods with false representations, and sending abusive and threatening messages through a public network, with the victim being a 44-year-old pharmacist.

According to an announcement by the Police, a 44-year-old man was reported to the TAE Paphos that a 55-year-old man went to his pharmacy and bought drugs worth about 400 euros. The 55-year-old, according to the pharmacist, told him that his credit card was not working to pay and that he would pay him by bank transfer the next day.

The 55-year-old allegedly sent an email to the 44-year-old the next day, informing him that the transfer had taken place, which, however, according to the complainant, never took place. The complainant then contacted the 55-year-old for collection of the amount and he allegedly -according to the complaint to the Police- instead of arranging the payment of the amount, threatened him, sent him more than 20 threatening messages for his life and for his property.

An arrest warrant was issued against the 55-year-old for the offenses of written threats of murder, securing goods with false representations, threats, sending insulting and threatening messages through a public network.

The 55-year-old is wanted and the examinations continue by the Paphos TAE.
