Another arrest was made by the Police yesterday, in the context of the investigation into cases of burglary, theft and illegal possession of property. Late last night, a 38-year-old man was arrested on a warrant, who was taken into custody to facilitate the investigation.
The investigation of the above cases began after information was given to the Police, that in a specific premises there may be stolen property. On February 13, 2022, members of the Police conducted a search of the premises, where a large number of jewelry, electrical and electronic devices were located and confiscated. Three people, aged 45, 27 and 26, were also found at the premises and arrested to facilitate the investigation.
During the police investigations, a testimony was obtained, according to which the three arrested are allegedly involved in six burglary cases, which were committed in the Limassol district and were reported to the Police.
From further examinations, testimony was obtained against a 38-year-old resident of Limassol, against whom an arrest warrant was issued.
Last night, the 38-year-old was located by a police patrol on a street in Limassol, was arrested and detained to facilitate investigations.
