The Limassol district court issued a detention order for another eight days this morning against the 38-year-old man, who was arrested last week in connection with the amount of cannabis, weighing 132 kilos, found in a container in the port of Limassol.
The suspect, who denies involvement in the case, was arrested on the basis of the testimony, in relation to the container that arrived, on March 3, in the port of Limassol, from Spain.
During the search, 24 pallets of feed packaging were found, while in two pallets were hidden 132 airtight nylon packages containing a quantity of hemp weighing about 132 kilos.
