Geological Survey announcement on earthquake - Epicenter Paphos

The Department of Geological Survey of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announces that on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 08:27 local time, an earthquake measuring M=3.9 on the Richter scale was recorded by the Department's seismological network.

The earthquake had its epicenter in the sea area 16 kilometers south-east of the city of Paphos and a focal depth of 28 kilometers. The earthquake was felt in the province of Paphos and slightly felt in the province of Limassol.
