Following the great interest shown by the people for "Walk-In" vaccination centers, there are plans for the vaccinations to be carried out in larger centers, where more vaccines will be available to serve the people, said to KYPE, the Deputy Director of Nursing Services Evagoras Drum.
"The first two days are on a trial basis. "Seeing the interest and the response from the people, we are now planning for the vaccinations to be carried out in bigger centers and for 200-300 vaccines to be available, depending on the demand," he said.
Mr. Tambouris stated that the vaccinations in "Walk-In" continue normally for a second day.
"By 10:40, 338 vaccinations were given all over Cyprus. There were 73 vaccinations in Nicosia. "84 in Larnaca, 72 in Limassol, 53 in Famagusta and 56 in Paphos", he noted.
"Walk-In" vaccination centers operate in the Health Centers of Latsia and Linopetra, in the General Hospitals of Paphos and Famagusta and in the port of Larnaca.
At the moment, in the specific Centers, only beneficiaries of GESS are vaccinated with Pfizer vaccines. Vaccination Centers are open from Monday to Friday from 8.00 -13.00.
