Police: 24 complaints for violations of COVID measures

Total 2.952 controls carried out by the Police in the last 24 hours in the context of the controls for measures against the coronavirus during which 18 citizens and 6 property managers were reported.

Speaking at KYPE a representative of the Police Communication Branch, stated that in Nicosia 1452 inspections were carried out and a citizen and a person in charge of the property were also reported to Larnaca 482 inspections were carried out and two premises and 6 citizens were reported.

At Limassol The Police carried out 215 checks and reported 2 premises and 8 citizens, in Paphos after 136 inspections, a property manager and a citizen were reported to Famagusta 390 checks were carried out and two citizens were reported while in Morphou in 196 audits no violations of the measures were detected.

Η Port carried out 12 audits and the Traffic police to 69 without any complaint.

Her representative Police referred to the complaints of property managers, clarifying that it is a cafeteria in Nicosia, in which the person in charge did not have safe pass, one in Limassol where the owner did not bring safe pass and another cafe where the guests did not bring safe pass. In Larnaca, a complaint concerns a property where the attendees were more than the allowable limit while in Paphos the complaint concerned an employee of an estate without safe pass.
