Η Central Bank of Cyprusposted on Wednesday (26/10) the statistics of deposits and loans of MFIs with a reference month of September 2022, which are included in the Monetary and Financial Statistics, October 2022 edition.
It is noted that the figures for the period January – May 2022 have been revised as a result of the annual audit of the financial statements of MFIs for 2021.
Total deposits in September 2022 recorded a net increase1 of €148,0m, compared to a net increase of €173,7m in August 2022. The annual rate of change reached 0,6%, compared to 0,4% in August 2022. The balance of deposits in September 2022 reached €51,8 billion
Total loans in September 2022 recorded a net decrease of €110,9 million., compared to a net decrease of €100,0m in August 2022. The annual rate of change reached 1,4%, compared to 1,9% in August 2022. The balance of total loans in September 2022 reached €28,3 ,XNUMX billion
