They hacked a travel agency server and booked tickets for more than 20 thousand euros

A travel agency in Limassol fell victim to online fraud. Specifically, according to the complaint of the Director of the office last Wednesday, December 7, unknown persons illegally infiltrated the company's server, managing to book 31 airline tickets with a specific airline, from Senegal to Morocco.

According to the complainant, the total amount of € 23.492,54 was withdrawn with the purchases in question.

As soon as the fraud was noticed the Company Director informed both the airline and the platform through which the tickets were booked that they had fallen victim to online fraud.

The Economic Crime Investigation Office of the TAE Limassol continues the examinations.
