It is raining in areas along the Paphos-Limassol, Limassol-Nicosia, and Larnaca Nicosia highways, around 7.30 on Wednesday morning, resulting in limited visibility for passing drivers and a slippery road.
A police statement states that the rainfall is particularly intense in the areas of Pissouri and Hoirokoitia, where the visibility for passing drivers is dangerously low, and due to flow and accumulation of water, the road is dangerously slippery.
Drivers are required to drive at a safe, low speed, to keep a safe distance from oncoming vehicles and to have their headlights on.
