Handcuffs on a 35-year-old for transporting immigrants from occupied areas

Members of the Police, in the context of data evaluation, stopped for control around 3.30 yesterday afternoon, a car that was moving on Griva Digeni Street in Pyla.

The driver of the car was a 35-year-old resident of Limassol, while the passengers were five other people who, as it turned out from the examinations that followed, arrived in the Republic of Cyprus through the occupied territories after paying a sum of money to a person who handed them over to the 35-year-old. undertook to transport them to the free areas.

The 35-year-old was arrested on a court warrant and was taken into custody while the five persons were taken to the Pournara foreigners' accommodation.
