Handcuffs on three people involved in 5 robbery cases

Near their full investigation, there seem to be five robbery cases in the provinces of Larnaca and Limassol, after yesterday's arrests of three people.

Around 4.30 p.m. Yesterday, members of the Police stopped a car, which was moving on a street in Larnaca and in which two 26-year-olds and a 25-year-old were riding. During a search of the vehicle, a red jacket was found, similar to that worn by one of the perpetrators of the robbery at a kiosk, committed in the early hours of January 8, 2022, in Larnaca.

The two 26-year-olds are alleged to have confessed to the robbery in Larnaca, as well as four other robberies, committed in Limassol, between December 29, 2021 and January 7, 2022. Arrest warrants were issued against them and arrest warrants were issued were detained to facilitate investigations. As for the 25-year-old, from the examinations that were performed, it seems that he is not involved in the above cases.

Further police investigations carried out a testimony against a 28-year-old resident of Limassol. An arrest warrant was issued against him, under which he was arrested and detained to facilitate investigations.
