Handcuffs on a Cyta employee - Allegedly stole cables worth € 167,462

A case of theft of a large quantity of telecommunication cables from a warehouse of a telecommunications company is being investigated by the Limassol Police, whose members proceeded to arrest a 48-year-old man to facilitate the investigations.

The case was reported to the Police yesterday by a representative of the company. According to the complaint, a recent inventory of the company's warehouse revealed that there was a shortage of two types of cables, worth a total of € 167,462.

Investigations revealed a testimony against a 48-year-old employee of the company, who was arrested under a court order, to facilitate investigations.

The Limassol TAE is investigating the case.
