Cyprus Airways is supporting relief efforts in areas affected by the devastating earthquake by making its aircraft available to governments, charities and organizations to transport goods, medicine and rescue teams or equipment.
According to its announcement, "Cyprus Airways will allocate capacity on its scheduled flights to Beirut and is willing to organize special relief flights to transport the necessary cargo to the areas that need the most support."
It also extends its support to any organization, government body and others assisting in this tragedy, inviting them to contact HumanAid@cyprusairways.com with their requests. The airline will do everything possible to assist and provide assistance in these unfortunate circumstances, the statement concluded.
