They do not see new measures - Tomorrow the meeting of Hadjipandella and TEU

The reduction of the number of positive cases in the last days, will probably not bring developments and new measures from the session that the epidemiologists and the Minister of Health, Michalis Hadjipandelas, will have tomorrow (11/01) in the afternoon.

Speaking to SigmaLive, the member of the Advisory Scientific Committee of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Petros Karagiannis, said that during tomorrow's session, the epidemiological picture in Cyprus will be reviewed, which according to him is better in recent days.

"In the last two days there has been a decrease in positive incidents and I think it is still too early to talk or suggest measures. "As soon as some of the measures announced came into force today, we will have to wait a few more days," he said.

He even noted that important for the epidemiological picture will be the week we are going through with the reopening of schools. "We may see a small increase or not in schools. "Additional time must be given and then the situation must be assessed," said Dr. Karagiannis.

The Ministry of Health seems to be moving in the same direction, since according to information, it seems that the numbers of the last two days foretell an improvement of the epidemiological picture.

The Ministry of Health will listen to the epidemiologists and calmly monitor the situation, according to the same information of SigmaLive.
