Costas Clerides gives the money for the pre-service leave to the Anti-Cancer Hospital

The outgoing Attorney General Costas Clerides intends to file the difference that arises from his pre-service leave for the benefit of the Cyprus Cancer Association.

Speaking on the show Alpha Enimerosi, Costas Clerides explained the reasons why he will remain in office until July 31, 2020, instead of July 8, when he turns 68 years old.

In addition, President Anastasiadis and Government Spokesman Kyriakos Kousios contacted him, assuring him that any decision was respected.

For his part, Kyriakos Kousios, speaking on the same show, stressed that the assurance ceremony of George Savvidis and Savva Angelidis will normally take place on July 10, however George Savvidis will take office on August 1, where Costas will leave the Attorney General's Office. Clerides with his retirement.
