A 33-year-old Cypriot singer lost the battle with cancer

The 33-year-old Cypriot musician, Steven Hadjichristodoulou, lost the battle with cancer, reports the journalist of Parikiaki, Vassos Christoforou.

According to the same source, "the Cypriot community mourns the death of our young, talented music compatriot Steven Hadjichristodoulou, 33, who was defeated by the incurable disease of cancer, with which he fought in an unequal battle for the last five years."

The 33-year-old showed a penchant for music from a young age and started composing and singing his own songs, which he uploaded to the internet. He also wrote music for video clips and short comics.

Vassos Christoforou states that "Andreas and Marianna Hadjichristodoulou's parents come from Karavas and Paleosofos in Kyrenia, which is occupied by Turkish troops. "They moved to the United States immediately after the invasion of 1974. The couple has three children, two sons and a daughter."

His funeral will be held today, Tuesday, January 4, by the Greek Church of St. Catherine.
