A 36-year-old man who was injured after a fight is being treated at the Limassol General Hospital, with multiple traumatic amnesia and a head injury. A 35-year-old man from Limassol is wanted for the case.
According to the police, the incident happened at 7.30 last night when the 36-year-old allegedly disagreed with the 35-year-old, in an online discussion they had via Facebook regarding ELAM's position on the 2021 state budget in the House of Representatives. The two arranged to meet outdoors in Kolossi to discuss their differences.
The perpetrator and the victim went to the meeting point accompanied by their friends. The discussion turned into a clash between the dissidents and their company, with the result that the 36-year-old was seriously injured and was admitted to the Limassol General Hospital, where he is being treated in a serious condition.
To facilitate the investigations, the police have issued an arrest warrant for the 35-year-old, who is wanted.
