Lump-sum allowance for students

A one-off child benefit between the ages of four and 18 is expected to be deposited into the bank accounts of beneficiaries at the end of the month.

Specifically, 33.700 families and approximately 55.000 students will receive a one-time allowance of between 50 and 80 euros, depending on the family's income criteria.

Regarding the procedure, the parents do not need to make an application, since they are already recipients of the previous child benefit.

For more information, parents can contact the telephone number 80002000, the website of the Cyprus Post Office to select the subject they want to contact, as well as the seven service points throughout Cyprus.
