An amendment to the "law on citizenships" concerning the granting of "citizenship" of the pseudo-state to adopted children was approved unanimously yesterday in the "parliament".
According to the GTP, the Turkish press reports that the relevant "amending bill" stipulates that adopted children whose one of the two parents holds the "citizenship of the TRNC", will have the right to acquire the citizenship of the pseudo-state, provided that one year has passed since their date of adoption.
