Twenty complaints of breach of coronavirus measures

The complaint of 16 citizens and 4 premises was made by the Police from the morning of Sunday, March 13 until the morning of Monday, March 14, after 2.654 checks for the observance of the measures for the protection from the coronavirus.

A fine of € 4.000 was imposed on a property in Nicosia, which was found to employ employees without safepass, according to a representative of the Police Communication Department.

In total, 192 inspections were carried out in Nicosia, of which 9 citizens and 2 premises were reported. In Limassol, 2 citizens were reported, after 68 checks. In Larnaca, 468 checks were carried out and 1 citizen was reported. In Paphos, there were 2 complaints of real estate and 1 complaint of a citizen, after 134 inspections, while in the province of Famagusta, 3 citizens were reported, after 458 inspections. No complaints arose in the Morfos area, after 137 inspections.

In addition, the Traffic Police carried out 169 inspections, without any complaint. An additional 28 inspections were carried out by the Coast Guard, also without any complaint.
