The Paphos TAE proceeded to arrest a 43-year-old man for an investigated case of theft, illegal possession of property, acceptance of theft, while the Police are looking for another person for the same case.
According to the press representative of ADE Paphos and Head of TAE Paphos Michalis Nikolaou, on 23.5.23 the Police were called to Kissonerga, where they met a 62-year-old and a 43-year-old.
The 62-year-old pointed out to the members of the Pafos ADE at the site, 73 aluminum mold rails, which the 62-year-old claimed were in the possession of the 43-year-old and he had recognized them as part of his property, which had been stolen from a field in Empa between the dates 21-23 May.
The theft involved 200 rails worth 1000 euros and the 43-year-old allegedly had 73 in his possession. When questioned, the 43-year-old stated that another person aged 37 had sold them to him.
Subsequently, the 43-year-old was arrested for investigation of illegal possession of property, while an arrest warrant has been issued against the 37-year-old, who is wanted.
