The Paphos TAE is investigating a case of theft from an account and securing goods with false representations.
According to the Representative of ADE Paphos and Head of TAE Paphos Michalis Nikolaou, a 74-year-old British resident of Paphos was reported on Monday that on 18.6.22 she had realized the loss of her credit card. On Monday she went to a bank branch with the aim of canceling it and there she was informed that on 16.6.22 her card had been used in seven different stores from where items worth a total of 367 euros were bought and also that the cash had been withdrawn twice at an automatic cash register. amount of 1.800 euros.
Mr. Nikolaou stated that examinations are expected to be carried out in the said stores and ATMs through closed circuits in order to locate the alleged perpetrator.
