Another man, 83 years old, lost the battle with the coronavirus, while the new confirmed cases in Cyprus amount to thirty-two, it was announced by the authorities on Tuesday afternoon.
The deaths from him COVID-19 amounted to eight, including a woman and seven men, with an average age of 68 years.
Six of them had some aggravating factors.
The newly confirmed cases are 32 out of a total of 550 laboratory diagnoses.
Specifically, these are 13 people who were identified by tracking the contacts of already confirmed incidents, while four more people were identified from the British Bases and 15 people whose history is being investigated.
As of today, the total number of confirmed cases has risen to 262, including nine cases at British bases.
According to the authorities, the 271 cases were identified after performing 7.397 laboratory tests by the Cyprus Institute of Genetic Neurology (INGK) and the Microbiology Department of the Nicosia General Hospital.
