Tension outside the "parliament" in the occupied territories for the reform of the TA

The protesting crowd outside the "parliament" is growing and the number of participants in the "municipalities" event is about to close if the "bill" for the local government reform is passed.

T / C media broadcast that there is a strong "police" force on the ground and from time to time there is tension and there are clashes between the protesting "mayors", "municipal" officials and residents of these "municipalities" with "police". At the same time, the "committee on public, administrative and health issues" of the "parliament" that was to discuss the disputed "bills" could not meet due to lack of quorum, as the "deputies" of the KEE did not appear at the session.

The day before yesterday, Monday, the "municipalities" of Agios Sergios and Dikomos went on an indefinite sit-in protest outside the "parliament", today the "municipalities" of Agios Ambrosios of Kyrenia and Tziaos were added and tomorrow the sit-in protest .

The participants in the protest expressed their intention to close the roundabouts in Kioneli and Mia Milia (SS: the largest junctions in occupied Nicosia).

The tension arose shortly before 11 a.m. when it was heard that the "committee" could not meet to discuss the two controversial "bills" concerning amendments to the "law" for the unification of "municipalities" and for the "provincial administration".

The participants in the protest outside the "parliament" tried to open the doors of the courtyard of the building to enter, the "police" blocked them and there were fights, quarrels and tension.

Protesters chanted slogans such as "There is death, no return", "Government resign", "Unity, struggle, solidarity" and "Faiz resign", addressing "Prime Minister" Faiz Suzuoglu.
