Serious incidents occurred recently outside the DIAS band and the Sigma TV station. In particular, a group of citizens went to the Filoxenia Conference Center to protest against corruption and the coronavirus measures, while the plenary session of the parliament was in progress, however they were stopped by the Police and then marched outside the Sigma TV station.
There they shouted slogans against the TV station and its executives, while they also closed the road, resulting in traffic jams. Vehicles were also reportedly damaged.
Police used tear gas and water cannon to disperse the crowd, and three arrests have been made so far.
